Discovering Your Calling

DAY 4 OF 5

Suffering prepared Moses, but the Fire changed everything. The Bible says in Exodus 3 that Moses was tending sheep like any other day… except this time, he went a little farther. He led the flock “far into the wilderness,” and that’s where he saw it—the Burning Bush.

Often, I have found that if you want fresh Fire from God, you can’t stay stuck in familiar places. God often hides encounters in places that require faith to reach. Remember, yesterday’s obedience won’t carry tomorrow’s Calling. The Burning Bush is found by those who are willing to step beyond comfort and keep going even when it feels routine.

God meets those who stay faithful in the unseen. Sometimes, God will prompt you to do something that stretches you, like giving radically, fasting longer, or serving where it’s inconvenient. When you obey, the result won’t just be a breakthrough, it’ll be transformation.

Fresh Fire doesn’t come to those looking for hype. It comes to those who say, “Whatever You ask, Lord—I’ll do it.” If you feel dry, if things feel stale, don’t lower your expectations—go farther. Go deeper. There’s a Fire waiting.

Challenge:
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you one area where He’s asking you to stretch and then act on it.

Let’s Pray:
Lord, I don’t want to stay in the shallow end. I want Your Fire. Help me go beyond what’s familiar and follow You wherever You lead. Stir fresh hunger in my heart again.
