Strategy for SuccessSample

The challenge of creativity
Does your team or organization include gifted, creative individuals?
Many sports teams and organizations often lack enough creative people. Yet, those serving children, youth, or health and fitness tend to attract innovative leaders.
Interestingly, creative minds can frustrate those with administrative skills. Why? Creativity often involves risk, which can clash with the need for structure and certainty. However, faith teaches us that avoiding risk doesn’t guarantee success—failure is a part of growth.
When a humble, gifted, creative leader joins a team, they elevate everyone’s potential. I’ve seen strategies transform from excellent to extraordinary because of such leaders. They inspire others to take on more responsibility and explore new ideas. A great creative leader doesn’t just bring new perspectives; they help the team understand why change is beneficial.
Creativity requires humility and empowerment to thrive. Teams that embrace and honor creativity see their goals expand in ways they couldn’t imagine. Witnessing the impact of creative leaders in action is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Scripture to ponder:
Exodus 35:35 "He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all skilled workers and designers."
Key Lesson:
You may approach problems differently from creative leaders, but empowering them in their gifting will bring your team closer to its full potential. Honor creativity, and you’ll see your goals flourish.
