Day 3: Mending the Broken
Devotion:
There have been times when trauma left me feeling completely shattered, as though the pieces of my life could never come back together. In those moments as a young girl, even the simplest things, like holding a blanket, became lifelines—tangible reminders of comfort amid the chaos. Over time, I began to see how God gently mended what was broken in me.
Healing didn’t occur in a single moment but a lifelong journey. It has required honesty, patience, and a willingness to let God work in His timing. He hasn’t just restored what was broken - He has made it new.
Reflection:
Where in my life am I seeking healing? Today, I will offer my brokenness to God and trust Him to work in His perfect timing.
Action Step:
Take one practical step toward healing today. For example, if you are grieving, spend time journaling or talking with a trusted friend or counselor. If you’re carrying emotional pain, pray specifically for God to meet you in that brokenness and begin mending your heart. Trust His process, one step at a time.
