How do you respond when life feels out of control? Do you panic? Do you hide? Do you try to wrestle for control? What or who do you put your trust in to get you through the chaos?

The disciples are caught in a violent storm—waves crashing, wind howling—and Jesus is… asleep. In their fear, they wake Him, crying out, “Lord, save us!” Jesus rebukes them: “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then He speaks, and the storm is still.

The disciples are amazed—“Who is this, that even the wind and waves obey him?” The storm revealed their fear, but it also revealed Jesus’ authority. He is not just a teacher; He commands and controls creation itself.

Today, ponder this: When life feels chaotic, do you trust that Jesus is in control, even when it seems like He’s silent?
