Miracles and Mysteries: Matthew 8-13Sample

What will happen to all the fish in the net?
Jesus tells a parable of a net that gathers all kinds of fish. At the end of the age, the good fish will be sorted into containers, and the bad fish will be thrown away. Jesus uses this to teach about the final judgment, where the righteous and the wicked will be separated.
The glory of Jesus shines through His authority over judgment. This echoes Matthew 25:31-33, where Jesus, as the Son of Man, will sit on His glorious throne and separate the righteous from the wicked. Jesus is not just a teacher or a healer—He is the righteous judge who will bring ultimate justice.
Today, ponder this: Are you living in light of the final judgment? How does this shape your choices and priorities today?
