You Can!Sample

When we go through hard moments, it’s easy to feel like God is far away. Our situation can feel so big or overwhelming that we can’t see anything else. When we’re struggling or feel like we’re misunderstood, a reminder that God is near can change the way we see things.
The author was in one of those difficult moments when this psalm was written. What they realized was that God never leaves us on our own. That doesn’t change our circumstances, but remembering that God is close and hears us can help us see things more clearly and help us trust that God is working even when we don’t see it.
This week, go outside, take a deep breath, and talk to God about whatever is weighing on you. While you are there, take a small rock with you in your pocket. Set it somewhere in your room as a reminder that God is never far away.
