Have you ever helped someone move heavy furniture? It’s almost impossible to do it alone, right? That’s why we ask for help! Asking isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s just how things get done. Life can feel a lot like carrying heavy furniture at times. When we’re dealing with challenges, we often try to handle everything by ourselves. But Scripture reminds us that we don’t have to carry our burdens alone. God designed us to lean on one another for help. When we share what we’re going through, we’re living out the way God intended us to care for each other. It may feel awkward at first, but over time, asking for help and offering it can become a natural part of life. And when it is, you won’t have to carry anything heavy on your own again!
This week, write down one burden you’ve been carrying. Then, reach out to a trusted friend and share it with them. Ask for their support and help so you don’t have to carry it alone.
