Philippians 4:8 – "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
đź’ˇ Reflection:
What we think about shapes our emotions and actions. If we dwell on negative things, we’ll feel negative. But if we fill our minds with what is good, we’ll experience more peace and joy. Our thoughts influence how we see the world, ourselves, and even God. Training our minds to focus on positive and godly things helps us stay encouraged and hopeful, no matter what we’re facing.
🎉 Activity:
Create a “Good Things” list. Write down at least 10 things that are beautiful, uplifting, or make you feel closer to God. Keep the list where you can see it when you need a mindset reset.
📝 Journaling Prompt:
What are some negative thoughts that have been taking up space in your mind? How can you replace them with thoughts that align with Philippians 4:8?
🙏 Prayer:
God, help me to focus my thoughts on things that bring life and hope. When negative thoughts come, remind me of Your truth. Thank You for the good things You’ve placed in my life. Amen.
