Choose Joy
đź“– Scripture:
Philippians 4:4 – "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
đź’ˇ Reflection:
Life can be tough, and some days joy feels out of reach. But Paul wrote this while in prison—if he could rejoice, so can we! Joy isn’t just about feelings; it’s a choice to focus on God’s goodness. Choosing joy doesn’t mean ignoring hard times, but it means trusting that God is bigger than our struggles. When we anchor our joy in Him, we find strength even on the hardest days.
🎉 Activity:
Create a "Joy Playlist" filled with worship songs or uplifting music. Play it when you’re feeling down and dance, sing, or just soak it in.
📝 Journaling Prompt:
What are three things you can rejoice in today, even if life isn’t perfect?
🙏 Prayer:
God, help me to choose joy today. Remind me that no matter what I’m going through, You are with me, and that’s a reason to rejoice. Fill my heart with Your peace and help me to focus on the good. Amen.
