When You Worry, Talk to God
đź“– Scripture:
Philippians 4:6 – "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
đź’ˇ Reflection:
Worrying is a normal part of life. However, if we ignore our worries, they can take over our minds and make us feel overwhelmed. God invites us to trade anxiety for peace. Instead of letting stress pile up, turn your worries into prayers. God hears you, and He cares! Worry doesn’t fix anything, but prayer changes everything. The more we give our concerns to God, the more we’ll experience His calming presence in our daily lives.
🎉 Activity:
Write down your biggest worries on separate pieces of paper. Then, crumple them up and throw them away as a symbol of giving them to God.
📝 Journaling Prompt:
What’s one thing you’ve been worrying about lately? How can you turn it into a prayer today?
🙏 Prayer:
Father, I give You my worries. I don’t want to be consumed by stress, so I’m handing it over to You. Help me to trust that You are working all things together for my good. Amen.
