KEEP YOUR SPIRIT STRONG

Your spiritual strength directly determines your resilience in times of trouble. Proverbs 18:14 clearly states, “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” This verse reveals the crucial importance of keeping your spirit man robust and healthy. A weak spirit cannot adequately support you during life's challenges, while a strong spirit enables you to stand firm and overcome difficulties victoriously.

Just as physical nourishment and exercise sustain the body, spiritual nourishment sustains your spirit. This nourishment primarily comes through consistent meditation on God’s Word, earnest prayer, and communion with the Holy Spirit. Neglecting these essentials leaves your spirit man vulnerable, incapable of effectively confronting life's trials.

Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:16, “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” This prayer reveals God's desire to strengthen your spirit continuously. Such strength helps you maintain joy, peace, and stability regardless of outward circumstances, keeping you from spiritual weariness and defeat.

Make spiritual growth your priority. Invest intentionally in practices that build and sustain spiritual vitality. When your spirit is strong, you'll find it easier to resist temptation, stay encouraged through difficult seasons, and fulfil your God-given purpose with confidence and grace.
