The Breath of LentSample

What love. Reread this, “very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.” The list of people most of us would be willing to die for is short and likely limited to specific people, children, and family. However, Jesus died for us before we accepted Him while we were still sinners. Have you stopped to consider that truth? So many times, we get caught up in our faith so that we can forget some of the basic foundations of our faith: "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” The honor of being in the presence of that kind of love should not be taken lightly. The ability to be in His courts, in His presence, is a gift bought at a great price. Only through Jesus Christ have we gained access to His presence. So today, consider the price paid to declare the breath prayer you have been breathing all week.
Inhale: Better is one day in your courts
Exhale: than a thousand elsewhere
