Day 8 - God Delights In Us
The Bible tells us that we are God’s joy. He delights in us like we do with our kids, our spouse, our friends or family.
To delight in something means to “incline to” or “take pleasure in.” God does not need to incline His heart towards us, but He chooses to because of His love for us and because we bring Him joy!
Do we honestly see ourselves as God’s delight? Or do we get stuck on parts of ourselves that we don’t like, rather than seeing ourselves as God sees us?
How would your view change if we started every day in His presence, hearing what He says about you, and receiving His delight? Try it today, and write down what you hear.
