Consider It All JoySample

Never Alone in the Body
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.
Ephesians 2:19
Christ Jesus,
Life feels lonely at times. As a follower of You, I know You are always with me, yet I long for more relationships. You’ve created me as a relational being, and I desire those close friendships, those accountability partners, and those mentors, who provide a bit more fulfillment in my life.
Thankfully, You haven’t left me to fend for myself! While this world is not my forever home, I’m no longer a stranger and alien here, but rather I’m a fellow citizen with the saints and members of Your household, God. What a gift! The relationships with those who don’t know You are fun and enjoyable, but when it comes to the body of Christ, the bond that forms brings more joy than any other kind of relationship. Thank You, Jesus, for building this foundation and for acting as the cornerstone, joining us together. It amazes me and fills me with joy that I am a part of something beyond this earthly world. I am a part of Your holy temple, and the relationships from this body bring me joy as I remember I’m not alone in this world!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
