The Bible for Young Explorers: ExodusSample

The golden calf
The Israelites had the memory of a goldfish. Moses gave them the Ten Commandments, which banned making idols or images of God. A few weeks later, they made a golden calf. No wonder Moses was furious. He crushed the fake calf and made the people drink it.
How to survive a bull attack
Bulls are powerful and can run up to 35 mph. If you have to walk near one, don’t make eye contact and don’t run. Walk calmly, but never turn your back on it. Watch out for warning signs (tossing its head, stamping hoof, growling). If it charges, run in zigzags to the nearest obstacle (a tree or hedge). If you still can’t get away, hit the bull on the nose as hard as you can with a stick or rock.
