Journey With Jesus 365Sample

Matthew 22:21 is a familiar verse. Render therefore unto Cesar the things which are Cesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. We know Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees and Herodians. These two groups hated each other, however found it convenient to team up against Christ. Jesus was telling them, to give to Cesar what belongs to him and to God what belongs to Him. The Pharisees and Herodians looked good on the outside, but on the inside, they were spiritually dead.
Christ is more concerned with our hearts than our outward appearance. If we are walking with Him and spending time in His Word, our outward appearance will reflect our time spent with the Lord. Do you have a close walk with the Lord or are you just going through the motions in your Christian life?
