Journey With Jesus 365Sample

“And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20)
In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus paints a beautiful picture of God’s love and forgiveness. In the story, after a period of rebellion, the younger son decides to return home, fully expecting to be treated as a servant for his mistakes. But while he is still a long way away, his father sees him and runs to welcome him back with open arms.
Just like this story, no matter how far we may feel from God, He is always watching and ready to welcome us back home. His love is unconditional and His forgiveness is complete. He’s not waiting to judge us or remind us of our failures but to embrace us and restore us.
Are there areas in your life where you need to experience God’s forgiveness and grace? What step can you take today to return to Him? Just like the prodigal son, your Heavenly Father is waiting with open arms to welcome you back, no matter how far you have wandered from Him.
