Journey With Jesus 365Sample

“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.” (Luke 17:17-18)
Jesus heals ten lepers, yet only one returns to thank Him. Jesus recognizes the gratitude of this one man and points out that the other nine who chose not to return and give thanks. This story reminds us of the importance of gratitude and taking the time to acknowledge God’s blessings in our lives.
It’s easy to get so caught up in the blessings we receive in life that we forget to thank the One who provides them. Gratitude not only honors God but also changes our perspective, helping us to focus on His goodness rather than on what we don’t have.
Are there blessings in your life that you have maybe taken for granted? God challenges us to be like that one man who returned. Take a moment to reflect on God’s blessings today and thank Him for His faithfulness and love.
