A Year in Luke/ActsSample

Because the Council was focusing on the full picture of a Trinitarian God (although they didn’t use this language yet), they were able to make a wise decision moving forward. In light of the resurrection of Jesus, they knew the world was a different place. They heard of the work that the Spirit was doing amongst the Gentiles. All of this is in the context of the Father’s creation of a new family with all the people of the world joined as one.
Notice it is not all smooth sailing though, after such a brilliant display of unity and wisdom, Paul and Barnabus fall out to such an extent that they part company - the early was by no means perfect!
