A Year in Luke/ActsSample

In today's devotional, we are going to be focusing our attention on verses 6-10 of Acts chapter 16. Paul and Timothy were on a journey of evangelism, going from town to town spreading the gospel. At a certain point, these men turn to go to a new city and they are denied permission by the Holy Spirit. This denial undoubtedly brought up some questions at the time and might stir up some questions for us today too. However, even in times of doubt, we can still find encouragement. God always has the best in mind, even when things do not go the way we expect.
As you pray today, trust that God's timing is perfect. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, so He can exalt you at the proper time.
