The Bible for Young Explorers: GenesisSample

Joseph
One of twelve brothers, Joseph, had dreams about being promoted to rule over them. Joseph was his father’s favourite child. Jacob gave him an expensive ‘technicoloured coat’ – a designer jacket that made his brothers jealous. They beat Joseph up and sold him into slavery in Egypt. God had other plans and raised Joseph up to rule as Prime Minister. When a severe famine came, Joseph provided salvation for the whole region, including his own brothers. Genesis 37–50 tells this incredible story.
