The Bible for Young Explorers: GenesisSample

The tempting snake
In Genesis, the snake is the voice of temptation. It makes us doubt God and go our own way. The snake shows how important our choices are. Adam and Eve chose to eat from the tree God had forbidden because they thought it would lead to a better life. But it actually brought fear, shame, and even death.
How to survive a snake encounter
There are over 3000 species of snake in the world, but only 20 percent are poisonous. But you should always be very careful to avoid being bitten. If you encounter one, stay calm, step back at least 2 metres, and keep any pets away. Snakes tend to be shy and will often want to retreat into the bushes away from you.
Genesis 3: 14 points to Jesus
This mysterious verse points forward to someone who will destroy evil, but he will be hurt in the process.
