God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 4
Jesus’s baptism started his public ministry, and He followed it up by going to the desert alone. That may sound counterintuitive, but there was a purpose. While in the desert, He fasted and was tempted by the devil. He started His ministry to humanity by getting an up-close, personal understanding of our struggles.
Food and general addictions? He was definitely hungry after not eating for 40 days. Doing life on His own? He could have saved Himself but chose to rely on God. Power and glory? He could have had it all at that moment but chose to set it aside and save us.
What are you struggling with today? Jesus knows what it’s like. Ask for His help.
