We learn about God's justice and longsuffering from the Bible. Wisdom cries out that the latter should not be presumed upon. The Lord declares His displeasure in Judah. Even if the great men of God-Noah, Daniel, and Job lived currently in Israel, He would still chasten them. Ezekiel writes, "Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it" (Ezekiel 14:13).
