The Gospel of MarkSample

The people shout “Hosanna” at Jesus as He makes His entry into Jerusalem. In Hebrew hosanna means to save or rescue. Often in Mark’s gospel, we see Jesus doing everything He could to discourage people from publicly celebrating Him as the Messiah. However, during triumphal entry, we see an exception. It’s a wonderful thing to see Jesus being rightfully acknowledged and held in reverence. We are to come to God with reverence and worship Him the way He deserves to be worshiped.
