I’m on a mission to go fishing—for people!
When you give your life to Jesus, not only do you get some pretty awesome things (like salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit), but you also get an amazing responsibility. God has chosen His children to be His messengers in this world. We get to be the ones to share the Good News about Jesus and teach others how to follow Him.
One of the best ways to share the Good News is by showing the people you see every day what it means to be a follower of Jesus. When you live like Jesus and love others the way God has called you to, you can share all that Jesus has done in your life and help others find a relationship with Him too!
Watch the video, then use the Bible verse Mark 1:17 and play Toy Time. It will help you remember that when we follow Jesus, He sends us out to help others follow Him too!
Toy Time
- Get two toys.
- Pretend the toys can talk to each other and that they’re on a Bible game show.
- Make the toys act like they’re trying to remember Mark 1:17.
- Pick the first toy that remembers the verse to be the winner of the Bible game show.
Talk It Over: Who is someone you know that doesn’t know Jesus? How can you show them that you’re a follower of Jesus and help them find a relationship with Him too?
