I’m on a mission to go fishing—for people!
As followers of Jesus, we have a really important job. We get to be the ones that share the Good News about Jesus and help grow His family of followers, the Church!
We can learn a lot about how to do this job well from the Bible story. When Jesus asked Simon and Andrew to lower their nets, what did they do? They trusted Him and obeyed. And what happened when they obeyed? Jesus got to show His power!
When they saw what Jesus did, they couldn’t help but tell people about it! The same goes for us. We are called to simply obey. When we obey God, we get front row seats to see His power at work. And then we can go and tell everyone about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. They might choose to follow Him too!
