PRAY: Jesus, it is only through You that I can find true forgiveness. Help me to seek Your face and spend more time with You. I want to get so close to You that I can hear You proclaim forgiveness to me in a very personal way. Thank You for forgiving my sins and for reminding me that I need You for true and lasting forgiveness.

REFLECT: As you think about forgiveness, think about wanting others to seek forgiveness who don't know Jesus. True forgiveness and the ability to forgive others only comes through a relationship with Jesus. So, maybe we need to pray for a person's salvation before we expect them to forgive others or seek forgiveness for themselves. Sometimes we get angry at people in Hollywood for being bad role models for our children or for creating immoral entertainment, but if they don't know Jesus, what should we expect?

ACT: If you find you just can't forgive someone who has hurt you, remember that the ability to forgive only comes from Jesus. So, in Jesus' name, you can forgive. Write down the names of the people you haven't yet forgiven, and then write: "I forgive you, in Jesus' name!" And it is done!
