Not only did Joseph say that God worked his brothers' evil into good for him, but he worked it into good for all of God's people. Through what his brothers did, God elevated Joseph to the second highest position in Egypt. And once he was there, God helped him save the entire region from a terrible famine. From what we can tell, Joseph was happy with that. He was happy to suffer if God used it to help others.
Think it Over: Would you feel the same way? Would you be okay to suffer if you knew it would help others? Why?
