As we discussed yesterday, years later, Joseph was able to look back on this moment and say that God had used his brothers' evil for good. But in this moment, Joseph probably wasn't thinking that positively. Rather, right now, we can guess that Joseph wondered what God was up to.
In the middle of the story, it's often really hard to see how it could end well. But God is an expert author and he only writes good stories: in Joseph's life, in Jesus' life, and in ours.
