Jesus’ Last Supper
Listen to "Jesus’ Last Supper":
Reflect
Notice the action words in this story. They include “celebrate,” “wash,” “follow,” “love,” “remember,” “sang” and “prayed.” This story could be titled “What the Church Should Look Like.” Conflicts might lessen if we focused more on serving and loving one another.
Jesus said, “Love each other like I have loved you. If you love each other like this, the whole world will know that you’re my disciples.” World missions can be summed up in this one command! How do you think today’s believers are doing? Do you love others so much that they know you are a follower of Christ?
● Think of ways you could show love to your brothers and sisters that would make a loud statement to the world.
Lord, we fail miserably at loving each other consistently and selflessly. We need Your help to embody this command.
Journal
What did you like in this story? What in the story challenges you or is confusing? What does this story show you about people? What does this story show you about God/Jesus/God’s Spirit? What does this story show you about yourself?

About this Plan

Experience a different way of interacting with God’s Word. Deepen your intimacy with God by listening to an oral Bible story each day. Then allow His Word to transform you by reflecting on a short devotional. Grab a journal to record what you notice in the story and what God is saying to you through His Word.
