REFLECT + FOCUS

God loves us as we are.

But loves us too much to leave us that way! He constantly leads us into newness and growth... if we’re willing.

And our willingness begins with being completely honest with Him about the condition of our hearts.

He is the “all-knowing God”—He already knows every hidden thing—but still loves us unconditionally.

To receive that unconditional love - we must be completely honest with Him—holding nothing back—coming as children.

It's important that we name it. Jesus asked “What do you want me to do for you?” even though he already knew their exact problem. One first step in humility and fear of the Lord is honestly defining exactly what our issue is and what we want God to do for us.

SHOUT

As you declare today’s shout, do what the Psalm says and “pour out your heart to Him” in complete honesty.

Use TWA to thank Him, worship Him, but also allow the cry of your heart to reach His heart!

Trust in him at all times, you people;
Pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Psalm sixty two verse eight.

When we were children, we were totally reliant on our parents. We were filled with trust and abandon. As we grew, we learnt the "ways of the world" How to fear, how to mistrust, and how to pretend.

• What is God speaking to you through today’s passage?
• How can you come as a child to inherit the good things of His Kingdom?
