REFLECT + FOCUS

Imagine a tap - connected to a water supply. Even if the plumbing is all connected correctly, the water only flows once you open the tap.

Colossians 2:10 says that we have been given “fullness in Christ.”

The source of God Himself, the Holy Spirit, is living in us. The pipe is connected!

Jesus said in John 7:37-38 (NIV),

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

It actually doesn’t matter if you feel that or not. It’s truth.

Through baptism you became a new creation in Christ. The source of the eternal love of God now lives in you.

The challenge today, is not to necessarily feel that, but to believe it by faith and speak it out.

Let the feelings come later.

Just come as a child and say thank-you, as you drink deeply of the water that Jesus gives you.

SHOUT

Imagine yourself asking, receiving and drinking the pure water of the Holy Spirit from Jesus. Thank Him and worship Him for it - as you declare today’s shout:

I drink of the water that Jesus gives. John chapter 7, verse 37.
We have all been given the one Spirit to drink. 1 Corinthians 12, 13
