In verses 11-12 we see James write about judgement amongst believers. The culture had turned into one of intense scrutiny and judgement, rather than one of encouraging growth and development.
James calls this out, and humility is a theme he consistently returns to throughout the letter.

About this Plan

The Epistle of James has so much to offer us as followers of Jesus today. It was originally written to Jewish Christians spread all over the ancient world. The message is straight to the point, practical, and challenging. Wherever we find ourselves following Jesus, this letter can help us realize how our spiritual and practical life should be one in the same.
