RESURRECTION

The “power of His resurrection.” I like the sound of that. I think we’d all like more power and more control over our lives and the things around us. But the paradox of Jesus and His kingdom economy is that power is reversed. We find life through the death and resurrection of Jesus, not our own strength or wisdom.

All these things we have… possessions, status, achievements… are all garbage in comparison to what we gain through Christ.

There is strength and there is hope and there is peace in this, that through Jesus’ death and coming BACK to life he bought and brought the greatest victory. No matter what we may be going through… no matter how great the worries or cares of this present life may seem… in comparison, Jesus died and came back from the grave for us to always have hope. Nothing we go through compares to that and it's in knowing that that we can have peace in our circumstance. It is the resurrection that provides the greatest gain. This life is not the end. Put your hope in that.
