It can be tempting to think we can only serve God through the church, a service project, or telling someone about Jesus. Those things are amazing, but sometimes serving God is as simple as unloading the dishwasher with a good attitude, willingly holding the door for someone, or gladly respecting your teachers. In other words, giving glory to God is about everything you do—not just the “churchy” stuff. Even more than that, giving glory to God isn’t just about your actions. It’s about HOW you are doing it. God gets glory in all things when our attitudes and actions reflect love. Today, ask a trusted adult how they give God the glory in everything they do. Then listen for ways you can do the same.
