Disciple-Maker's VisionSample
Step one, then step two, step three, and so on. You're used to opening big boxes with many parts and a sequence of steps taken to arrive at a completed product. From Legos to Ikea furniture, steps are what you are looking for. Paul does just that in a concise fashion today, laying out the steps that take someone toward the final point of calling on Jesus with faith as savior and leader.
Take special note of the first step of faith though. The first step on the instruction sheet is not for the would-be believer. It's for you. More specifically, it's for your feet.
In dwelling over this instruction sheet, Paul gives us today, give special attention to step one. Ask Jesus for what step one actually is for you with the one(s) in your circle. Of course, you also need to discern whether or not you have taken step one in moving your feet yet, or what has been the obstacle for you in doing so. Hold the vision that feet go first with the gospel, and get yours going for the one(s) in your circle.
