Disciple-Maker's VisionSample
"Just tell me what you want me to do." You’ve said it before when clarity is weak and conversations are growing long. It was thrown at Jesus as a question too. "What does God want me to do? Spell it out. Give me the list." Interestingly, instead of leaning back into his tried and true "Love God and love others," line, when it comes to the work that is required, Jesus says today, "believe in me."
In your prayers in this moment, pause and appreciate just how much work it is for one person to believe in Jesus. Hold people in your circle specifically in your prayer moment. What about Jesus takes work for them to understand and accept? What work did it take for you? Notice all the obstacles one has to work through to believe in the sent savior of God crucified and resurrected two thousand years ago. There's work to be done. After noticing it and praying for it, open yourself to see the next step Jesus gives you in joining the work of belief for the one(s) in your life.
