Proverbs 11:3

“The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin.”

PRINCIPLE:

Integrity will keep you from a crash.

An entrepreneur called me to seek feedback on his difficult situation. He has stepped into a business needing a radical turnaround or faces foreclosure. Although he did not create the debt, he felt its load. The pressure and anxiety began to cause sleepless nights. As he described the scenario, I responded, “I know you to be a man of integrity. Hold on to your integrity, and it will see you through this situation. God will give you the wisdom to manage it.”

Today, he shared with me that the advice encouraged him, and not only has he received wisdom for the financial situation, but he is also completely at peace with handling it.

Job faced pressure like very few people have been subjected to; he “held onto his integrity” and overcame it all. (Job 27:5)

David prayed, “May integrity and uprightness protect me because my hope, LORD, is in you.” (Psalm 25:21)

When you face a season of hardship, hold on to your integrity. It will see you through.
