Prepare the Way: Passion Students Winter WkndSample

“Where does my help come from?”
This is the question the Psalmist makes us ask ourselves. There is a temptation to think I can do this life alone. It is easy to put our hope and trust in our giftings, our money, or our work ethic to make something of our lives, but the Scripture lays out a better way. You were never meant to bear the weight and the pressure of this life alone. God Almighty has big enough shoulders to carry you through the highs and lows of life. The Psalmist declares that his help “comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Isn’t it crazy to think that the same God who is powerful enough to speak mountain ranges into existence by merely His speaking a singular word is available as a help for you right now? You can trust God with whatever you are walking through. No amount of anxiety, no trial, and no addiction you face can intimidate the God that you serve. Trust Him.
Take a minute to pray a prayer of complete submission to God and His plans for you.
