2 CorinthiansSample

In 2 Corinthians 10:17, Paul is alluding to scripture in the old testament book of Jeremiah (9:23-24) where he was teaching the people to have a Holy respect for God, and that all of their own boasting or accomplishments are merely a breath of wind in comparison to God’s strength and might. How many times do we feel like boasting in and of ourselves, but we are only seeking self-love and acceptance in this? When we boast in Christ, we boast in his forgiveness and love. We have already been loved and accepted to the depths of our souls, for all of eternity. We only need to accept Jesus as our Savior and King.

About this Plan

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
