The Best Pathway for Me The Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt with miraculous signs and wonders culminating with the parting of the Red Sea. Yet they refused to be thankful and continued to murmur and sin. A journey - to the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey - which was about 10 days away, took them a good 40 years purely due to their disobedience and unbelief. In life, there can be many pathways, but God’s Word says that He will guide us along the best one. So if you are a student preparing for your exams or a housewife striving to make your home a happy place or an executive awaiting a promotion, you have a choice: to either rely on God or on your own efforts, which involves toil, to get the rewards. As a student, you can spend hours studying the same chapter. Or you can trust in God who will give you wisdom, show you what to focus on and sharpen your memory, so that one read is enough to grasp all the tough concepts. For the housewife, instead of losing your patience; as you pray and seek God, He will show you where your family may need your prayer support. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, will rule your home. And for the executive, a promotion doesn’t come after years of working 24 hours a day. God’s favor can take you places you haven’t dreamed of. After all, promotion comes not from the east or the west, but from the Lord. So, friends, keep your trust and faith in the Lord. As you rely on Him to watch over you and advise you, the ‘40 year’ project or research or wait can be completed in ‘10 days’. That is the pathway of success that God has in store for you!
