Arms of Love Have you ever felt afraid? Maybe you’re in a financial mess, or the doctor has just diagnosed you with a dreaded disease. Maybe you’ve lost a loved one. You might feel like your world has turned upside down and there’s no way out for you. Take heart, my friend! God says He is your refuge and His arms are everlasting! He never tires of carrying you. When you’re faced with sickness, remember Jesus bore all your infirmities in His body on the cross (Matthew 8:17). He carried them for you so that you can walk in divine health. You can trust in Him to meet every need you have because He is your Provider (Philippians 4:19). He fights your battles for you! He destroys the enemy of sickness, lack and oppression. Have you ever wondered what a child does when he is being carried by his mother? He just rests in her arms. He doesn’t try to carry himself. He knows he can rely on his mother to bear his weight. That’s just the way we need to rest in our God’s everlasting arms of love! How comforting it is to know that He never grows weary. When you face disappointments, He brings you comfort as you spend time in His loving presence. You don’t need to fear the future because He holds your future in His hands. You can take shelter in your eternal God! Trust Him! God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). So, don’t despair when you encounter trials. Just remember, God cares for you and will carry you through. He will work on your behalf while you rest in His unfailing arms of love. Prayer Father, I rest in Your everlasting arms and choose to trust You to deliver me. Amen.
