The Lord My Keeper Just stop, take a moment and think of the number of times you’ve made mistakes, you’ve fallen, you’ve stumbled, you’ve hurt someone, you’ve disappointed someone. Doesn’t it feel like you’ll never be able to count the number of times you’ve done wrong? The only reason for asking you this question is to reassure you of the love our Father has for us and the wonderful promise He has given us through this scripture. Sometimes, even as Christians, we try to do things in our own strength, but eventually we stumble and fall. We have to keep reminding ourselves that with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). God loved, loves and will always love us, in spite of our failures, our imperfections and our wrongdoing. He rejoices over us. So why should we struggle in our own strength, when we know that through Him we can do all things? He will always protect us and keep us from stumbling. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Because of what Jesus has done, God prepares us to enjoy eternal life with Him in heaven. What a wonderful future that is and what great joy it gives us now and always! Prayer Thank You Jesus for all that You’ve done for me in the past, all that You do for me in the present, and all that You will continue to do for me in the future. To You be the glory, majesty, dominion and power, forever and ever. Amen.
