From Dead Dreams to New Beginnings I used to be this little girl with big dreams. But as time passed, I didn’t realize that I had stopped dreaming. I had been sucked into the routine of life, caught up with many activities, even in the church, so much so that my dreams had been suffocated. I reached a point where all of my dreams were dead. But God had not forgotten my dreams. One morning, God Himself spoke to me, “Cecilia! Stop doing things for Me. I want to do things for you!” He continued, “All those dreams you thought were dead, give them to Me. I want to breathe life into them. All you have to do is live them!” Today, He’s saying that to you too. Have you ever had a dream you really wished would come true? Let me tell you, it’s a tough world. Doors will be shut on you. People will steal your glory and shatter your hopes. But remember, broken dreams are more than just endings; they’re opportunities for new beginnings. The sadness and anger you feel can give way to excitement, peace and joy, if you choose to trust God to help you move on. Start afresh. Dream big; the size of your dream will show the world the size of your God! I have realized two things:- It’s not about what you can do, but what you can do through Him. It’s not about what you do, but what He wants to do for you. Have you ever found yourself in the same place as I was—with dead dreams? It’s time for a new beginning. Hold on to your dream and do not quit, because with God you can achieve it no matter what. If you want to be a world changer, a history maker, then you need to be possessed by a grand God-given dream! Declaration I may have had broken dreams in my past, but I am not broken. My future is not broken. I continue to dream big because my God is big!
