When we think about purpose, we might ask questions like, am I a good daughter, son, sister, brother, student, athlete, musician, or artist? While yes, we can all find purposes in these identities. Is this all we are? Or is there more to our purpose?
Sometimes we get so caught up trying to act a certain to fit inside an identity to fulfill what we might think is our purpose. Let's rethink this idea by looking at what the Bible might say about our purpose. From today's verses, we can see that our purpose has been given to us by Jesus even before time began. This purpose given to us is higher than anything we could ever imagine.
So knowing our higher purpose, how could this transform the way we see ourselves as daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, students, athletes, musicians, and artists?
