Have you ever heard some misconceptions about what Jesus is like? Maybe he talked a certain way, or he never showed any emotion? When we hear so many different perspectives on what Jesus is like, we can lose sight of who Jesus is and what he came to do.
Jesus had one mission and many different expressions of accomplishing it. Jesus loved others deeply, healed the broken, trained the disciples, and ultimately changed the lives of those who received his teachings. The Bible says that he completed his mission without hurting anyone, giving us an example of how we can live our lives. When we clearly understand who Jesus is, we can understand who we're called to be.
How has your perspective of Jesus changed for the better? With a more clear picture of Jesus, how does that change how you see yourself?
