On the Flip SideSample

Life is ALL about partnerships.
Even something as simple as bread is a result of a long string of partnerships. From the one who harvested the wheat to those who have put in the plumbing for water to make the dough, to the baker and delivery driver . . . you get the idea.
This is no different when we think about our relationship with God and God's relationship with the world. Listen to what the psalmist says in today's verse. Both are necessary, God's work and our partnership. Together, we make beautiful things, and as God's creation, we learn so much in the process. It reminds us that we are not in control and that our decision — what we do — matters.
So how will you partner with God to bring renewal into your own life today?

About this Plan

Jesus wasn’t exactly known for telling people what they wanted to hear. Jesus didn’t give feel-good sermons. He flipped people’s ideas about God, the world, and themselves upside down — usually in uncomfortable ways. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll compare how Jesus challenged the religious leaders and what God says in the Old Testament on what’s wrong or right, good or bad, and just or unjust.
