Catalyst

DAY 7 OF 20

So . . . what's a catalyst anyway? Well in scientific terms, it's something that helps a chemical change happen without changing itself. Think. . . Coke and Mentos; if you don't know about this reaction, look up a video on this science experiment. Like this example, we can be catalysts when helping each other grow spiritually.

There are so many people in your life who you can learn from when it comes to being a catalyst. Not only can your leaders at church be catalysts for change, but it's also possible there are people in your own family who are living the life of a catalyst as well!

Your family members could be people who live a life for Jesus and are making a difference in the world around them. Jesus had many catalysts in his family, including his mother, Mary. Before Jesus was even born, Mary was faithful and obedient to God and continued to be even after Jesus was gone.

Who is someone in your family who might be a catalyst?
