Psalms: Window to Our Souls, Part 2Sample

The psalmist makes reference to an unbelievably joyous event where God's people have been delivered out of captivity (perhaps from Babylon) and exhorts his listeners to give praise and thanks to God for "making this dream come true." Indeed, there are times when God provides us with blessings that are wonderful and unexpected, and we are called upon to show our gratitude to Him for them. But let's not forget to also give thanks to God when we wake up in the morning, when those 30-40 trillion cells in our bodies are functioning, which allows us to live in a manner that is worthy of the salvation we have received through Christ.
